The intensity in colour and extremely bright resinous lustre of this cluster of tabular Wulfenite crystals from the famous modern discovery at Jianshan mine in Shanshan Co., Xinjiang, China is magnificent and very eye-catching. Almost reminiscent of the great Red Cloud mine Wulfenite's from back in the day, it features crystals to 1.4 cm on edge, but they are far more complex, with beveled edges and truncated corners providing their own unique character. Very few larger, or undamaged specimens of this quality of colour and lustre were recovered from this famous Chinese occurrence, making this a really fine miniature display piece.
