Predominantly a crystallized vuggy aggregate of blue Azurite, an open cavity on the main display side of this large miniature-sized specimen is lined with deeper blue, glossy, bladed crystals. To add to its charm this cavity also contains several freestanding, white, twinned bladed Cerussite crystals, individually reaching up to 7 mm in length. These make for a very pretty display. A little green, massive Malachite is dispersed through some areas of the Azurite matrix. On the back of the specimen the Azurite is predominantly a paler, matt blue, with a few darker, more glossy crystals within small cavities. A quite distinctive smaller display piece for Tsumeb mine. Ex Weyand Collection.
