When it comes to famous Alpine mineral localities Val Giuv or Giuv Valley in Grischun, Switzerland is right up there in terms of importance and for good reason. This lovely miniature off-matrix Adularia (a variety of K-Feldspar) from Giuv Valley comes from David Hardman's collection and features an impressive twinned crystal, with a few other crystals spurring off from them. There does appear to some minor scuffing around the edges, but such a perfectly balanced and shapely twinned Adularia is rare.
