This 'style' or habit of Wulfenite crystal really requires no introduction, so iconic it is of Ojuela mine in Mapimí Municipality, Durango, Mexico. This cabinet-sized display specimen is a fantastic large visually appealing representation of this unusual form of a species so revered by collectors. The burnt orange tapering square-section 'prismatic' Wulfenite crystals have a superb greasy to resinous lustre and reach up to 5 mm in length and are in great condition. The display surface is festooned in crystals beneath which the gossanous matrix is partially coated with moss-like green Mimetite. Ex Nick Hawes collection, this one is specifically recorded as from San Juan Poniente at Ojuela mine.
