At 6.5 cm tall and in extremely fine overall shape, this individual, colourless, wedge-shaped terminated Topaz crystal with a little fragmentary pale Smoky Quartz embedded in its base, from the famous Klein Spitzkopje deposit in Erongo Region, Namibia is a rather excellent find. Its termination has the tiniest of chips to one sloping edge, but is otherwise perfect in both shape and condition, and its sides are gemmy and clean, with just two slight chips along its edges, but otherwise it is exceptional. Two internal cleavage planes can be seen in the lowermost part of the crystal, but the crystal is solid and neither extend out into the surface. It stands naturally for display. Ex Kessler Collection, this is probably from finds during the late 20th century. A really fine single crystal of Namibian Topaz.
