A 3.4 cm tall, terminated, and very shapely bladed prismatic dark green Epidote from the ultimate locality of Knappenwand in the Untersulzbach Valley, Austria but for a relatively bargain price. Why, you might ask? Well, the evidence is in the video, where upon rotating the crystal it can be seen that someone, in their wisdom, has scratched the name 'EPIDOT' into one side and something similar on the other opposing side. In some respects this is a classic case of what you should not do to a specimen, but it remains a very nice individual off matrix terminated crystal, with just one small chip on one side of its termination. Its base appears to be a straight cleavage surface.
