This extremely fine miniature-sized gem tourmaline crystal group showcases a super-gemmy delicately coloured, and colour-zoned transparent prismatic Elbaite crystal of the classic modern Coronel Murta pegmatite style. Showing the sharp hexagonal prismatic form and glassy flat pinacoid termination face, the main crystal reaches nearly 5 cm in length and is supported by three other criss-crossing prismatic crystals all with fractured, or incomplete ends. The Elbaite crystals are dominated by shades of pale pink with raspberry-pink to strawberry-pink undertones. The main 'showcase' freestanding terminated Elbaite crystal starts with a raspberry-pink lower section where it overlies the other Elbaite crystals, progressing upwards to a transparent pale strawberry-pink, like looking through a summer fruits cordial! This main zone continues to within about 8 mm from the termination, when it shifts to a pale aquamarine blue with flashes of vibrant raspberry-pink/red across the tip. None of these colours are 'in your face' bright, but they just 'work', complimenting each other perfectly. A few small clusters of pale lilac-grey Lepidolite crystals are dotted upon the surface of the tourmaline crystals, but do not distract from the excellence of their host crystals. No reported repairs.
