A very well-crystallized Datolite miniature from the famous 1930s discovery in a gorge alongside the Saltaria Valley in South Tyrol, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. Many small, but well-formed glassy, colourless Datolite crystals coat this predominantly Datolite specimen. It is from the superb systematic collection assembled by the brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 & 1956-2021).
