Impressively large for the famous Bisbee mines, the rosetted, rounded aggregates of finely crystallized bladed Azurite present a slightly paler, but brighter blue colour than many Bisbee Azurites. The largest aggregate reaches an impressive 6 cm across and merges at one end with another 4 cm diameter cluster with several platy Azurite growths extending beyond this, making for a dramatic-sized display specimen. The surfaces of the Azurite are made up of many hundreds of tiny rhombic crystals. An Arizona classic, and in a large, 'statement' size.
