{"product_id":"wulfenite-199","title":"WULFENITE","description":"This lovely, brightly coloured, sulphur-orange crystallized Wulfenite specimen from one of the famous mines at Mežica (Miess) - Glančnik mine - is not without damage, but its crystals, which reach up to 5 mm in length, are frequently twinned. They present as bipyramids, but look carefully and the middle of the crystals has a 'v'-shaped notch, like a macle, indicating that they are twins and not straightforward bipyramids. This is really unusual in Wulfenite crystals. These crystals liberally cover the flat surface of white limestone and their bright orange colour and resinous lustre really make them stand out. The tops of a few of these crystals are bruised, or contacted, but magnification is really required to see this.
