The Titanite crystal is double terminated and is an attractive mix of lime, grass and burnt olive-green with hints of burnt umber.  The prism faces are pitted and have a waxy lustre, whereas the terminations are smooth and glassy.  The small sliver of matrix comprised of green chloritic mica and sub-mm rhombs of Adularia (Orthoclase) underpins the specimen.
