{"product_id":"siderite-with-dolomite","title":"SIDERITE with DOLOMITE","description":"Although a gold mine, the Morro Velho mine in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, Brazil is better-known to mineral collectors as the source of some of the world's finest crystallized Siderite (iron carbonate) specimens. These were mostly collected during the late 1960s and early 1970s and are now rarely seen available for sale. This beautiful, rich cluster of deep golden-tan lenticular Siderite crystals - typically to 2.5 cm wide by 1.6 cm high - semi-transparent and with a bright reflective lustre, is an excellent size for display and in superb overall condition. Edging the Siderite crystals are a small number of colourless to milky-white Dolomite crystals. A rather splendid specimen from what is reputed to be the longest-lived gold mine in the world - started in 1725 and with continuous production through to at least 1997, but probably longer.  Ex Richard W. Barstow Collection (1947-1982) and is accompanied by his distinctive white label.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58563062858063,"sku":"CC18494","price":550.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1011\/3748\/2063\/files\/CC18494_339d354f-7240-48be-98ba-d6616d977373.jpg?v=1787670039","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.co.uk\/products\/siderite-with-dolomite","provider":"Crystal Classics UK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
