Accompanied by what appears a very old label in copperplate handwriting, this is a fine specimen from Hüttenberg in the Friesach-Hüttenberg area of Carinthia, Austria.  Each rhomb is typically about 1 cm on its longest edge and although the majority of the crystal faces have a bright, glassy lustre, they also have dappled patches of matt chocolate brown, as if sprinkled with coco powder.
