{"product_id":"senarmontite-3","title":"SÉNARMONTITE","description":"It is always lovely having a mineral species from its Type Locality - the place from where it was scientifically first described. It is even nicer to have once which is superbly crystallized, and that is exactly the case with this superb Senarmontite from Djebel Hammimat mine in Algeria. Small cabinet in size and forming a relatively pure (and dense) crystal aggregate, the individual Senarmontite crystals are pale grey and translucent, and form perfect octahedra with the largest reaching and impressive 1 cm across. Importantly, many others are also in the 8 to 9 mm size order. Senarmontite is a very soft mineral and some of the crystals around the edges of the specimen are a little bruised, but the main display surface is in very fine condition with just the very slightest of rubbing to be seen. The Djebel Hammimat mine deposit was discovered in 1848 and the species named in 1851, but within a century the mine was closed and the deposit worked out. It remains though, the site of the world's finest examples of Senarmontite, and this  super specimen is an important example.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58789372952911,"sku":"CC63471","price":593.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1011\/3748\/2063\/files\/CC63471.jpg?v=1789484413","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.co.uk\/products\/senarmontite-3","provider":"Crystal Classics UK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
