In this superb specimen, Schaurteite occurs over a 1.0 x 0.9 cm area at one end of a granular metallic matrix of, likely, mixed Germanite, Renierite and Tennantite, based on colour and iridescence.  The Schaurteite forms micro-fibrous silky sprays of white acicular needles, all intergrown to create a dense mat.
