{"product_id":"native-sulphur-12","title":"NATIVE SULPHUR","description":"The colour of these Polish Native Sulphur crystals is quite exceptional - reaching amber-orange. It is from the famous Machów mine near Tarnobrzeg, Podkarpackie, Poland which remarkably closed in the early 1990s with its vast opencast workings flooded as a recreational lake. The term 'remarkably' is used because this is such a well-known mineral-producing locality, and it seems staggering that it has been gone for over 30 years. Aggregated as sharp, flattened, almost bladed crystals, stacked together and rising up from a small piece of Calcite-coated rock matrix, some of the faces of these Native Sulphur crystals are extremely gemmy for this species whilst others are more typically waxy in their lustre. Individually, the Native Sulphur crystals reach up to 1.8 cm on edge and display really well from the side viewed with the Calcite-coated rock matrix at its core. In this direction the Native Sulphur crystals are in excellent condition and even around the other side there are only a few patches of bruising for what is a very soft mineral species. The Calcite coating the rock matrix forms a many tiny sharp rhombs. A very fine miniature specimen from this famous Polish occurrence.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58506958864719,"sku":"CC39840","price":333.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1011\/3748\/2063\/files\/CC39840.jpg?v=1787097619","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.co.uk\/products\/native-sulphur-12","provider":"Crystal Classics UK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
