The Native Silver has remained a reasonably bright silver, the contrast of which against the grey-black matrix makes it readily visible.  The 1 to 2 mm thick Silver ropes bifurcate at their ends to form branching, Medusa-like tangles of splayed Native Silver wires.  Tiny druses of smoky micro-Quartz crystals also occur on the specimen.
