Rich rosettes of Köttigite crystals to about 1 cm in diameter coat a sandy coloured micro-porous matrix mixed with encapsulated Köttigite sprays.  A 2.2 x 1.2 cm colourless translucent blade of Gypsum lies flat across the specimen with a lustre of brushed silk.
