{"product_id":"galena-with-cerussite-1","title":"GALENA with CERUSSITE","description":"Dating to the 1980s, this wonderful aggregate of large octahedral Galena crystals is from the Trzebionka mine, at Gmina Trzebinia, Chrzanów County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland. This is a quite famous mine for crystallized Galena specimens, although we have seen very few crystals of the size of these before - reaching 2.8 cm across. Growing upon a bed of limestone\/dolomite, the large Galena crystals have all been allowed to crystallize perfectly into an open space with a thin later coating of finely crystallized Pyrite overlying them but maintaining their excellent octahedral form. The Pyrite is not golden, but tarnished to a dull beige colour with patchy powdery white coatings. Between the Galena crystals the open spaces are spanned by silky, creamy-white needles of Cerussite. This is certainly one of the best crystallized Galena specimens to have come from this mine, and it comes with an old collection label recording the date: 28.5.89.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58716321186127,"sku":"CC64302","price":1329.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1011\/3748\/2063\/files\/CC64302.jpg?v=1788879621","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.co.uk\/products\/galena-with-cerussite-1","provider":"Crystal Classics UK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
