Weighing over 2 kg, the crystals are as close to perfection as I could ever imagine for Galena. For a mineral so prone to shedding along its perfect cleavage planes, this specimen is remarkable. With crystals ranging from perfect octahedral forms, 5 cm across, to spinel-twins to 6 cm in length, and with hoppered, skeletal development seen on the back, this is a world-class piece, but I still can't believe that there is no damage, it is miraculous.
