Most specimens were collected in the late 1990s and early 2000s and some are now coming back as collections are sold on. This very pretty specimen comes from the remarkable Fluorite collection assembled by Arvid Pasto. Its beauty comes from the balance between a 6 cm tall, terminated glassy Quartz crystal alongside which a linear grouping of equally glassy vibrant pale purple transparent cubic crystals of Fluorite sit attached down one side. The Fluorite crystals are really beautiful, with excellent internal colour zoning, but are missing their top surface and the rear, where they appear to have been attached to the other side of a cavity. Running down the edge of the Fluorite are small rosetted groups of cream-coloured Muscovite mica.
