This mine came to the attention of collectors during the early years of the 21st century when huge slabs of large pyramidal colour-zoned Fluorite crystals came to the market and then c. 2009, when very different, luscious looking, grape-purple complex modified cubo-octahedral crystals, often as isolated individuals on matrix, appeared. This fine small cabinet specimen features a single rounded, equant, translucent purple Fluorite crystal, 3 cm in diameter, sat upon the centre of a somewhat fibrous pale cream coloured Quartz matrix. A very pretty, and quite distinctive Chinese Fluorite.
