Nearly a decade after that initial find and the aesthetic quality of specimens has improved dramatically. This fine, cabinet-sized display specimen shows how the bar has been raised, with magnificent, fan-like radiating sprays of needle-like pistachio-green Epidote crystals, reaching 2.5 cm in length, splaying off in many directions, and intergrown with well-formed sharp, bladed, brown Axinite-(Mn) crystals, to 1 cm in length.
