Colourwise, it is dominated lowerdown by sherry coloured creamy orange-pink shades progressing upwards through pale grey and into an intense candyfloss pink upper 1.5 cm. This pink tip is also extremely glassy, and gemmy, which really grabs ones attention. Several small clustered 'books' of pale pinkish-grey Lepidolite mica sit on the surface of the Elbaite crystal in its lowermost two-thirds, leaving its wonderful pink termination glistening.
