{"product_id":"diaspore-twin","title":"DIASPORE Twin","description":"A classic V-twin of gemmy greenish-lemon Diaspore from the famous occurrence in Mugla Province in the Aegean Region of Turkey.  Both crystals are striated parallel to their c-axis and the longer (6 cm) crystal is partly terminated. A white band near the base of this crystal appears to be a natural tectonic break which has healed itself through recrystallization. The smaller (3.3 cm long) crystal is not terminated and displays concave conchoidal fractures along its top surface. A fine example of this famous twinning in Diaspore with the added benefit of a bright glassy lustre and slight colour-change effect when viewed in different directions.
