{"product_id":"descloizite-25","title":"DESCLOIZITE","description":"Once considered an ore, the sheer abundance of Descloizite (lead zinc vanadate hydroxide) at Berg Aukas in the Grootfontein District, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia, and in one or two deposits in the neighbouring areas, is a geochemical oddity simply not seen anywhere else on Earth. Ordinarily a rare species, the scale of Descloizite crystals at Berg Aukas is quite simply remarkable. However, the mine closed in the 1970s and what we see today are the specimens preserved in collections assembled between about 1920 and 1970. As a relatively soft and brittle species, and forming delicate blade-like crystals, damage to individual crystals is almost inevitable, which is what sets this wonderful specimen apart. It is small cabinet in size and features classic, spear-shaped, dark cola-brown, resinous crystals radiating outwards in many directions with no obvious damage to be seen. It is certainly at the top end of Descloizite specimens.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":59283881689423,"sku":"CC33600","price":1876.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1011\/3748\/2063\/files\/CC33600_2a54be9d-463b-47de-b563-ca63ed03f6de.jpg?v=1793116824","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.co.uk\/products\/descloizite-25","provider":"Crystal Classics UK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
