The smaller Cinnabar crystals are really well-formed, sharp, and colourful and the larger ones display complex growth patterns. Native Mercury is present as minute silver balls scattered amongst the Cinnabar crystals. A small, but very well crystallized specimen compared to most from this famous European occurrence.
