{"product_id":"chrysocolla-ps-after-malachite-with-quartz","title":"CHRYSOCOLLA ps. after MALACHITE with QUARTZ","description":"The fascinating process by which these remarkable epimorphed pseudomorphs formed never fails to amaze me. If that wasn't enough, the stunningly beautiful colour and amazing sculptural bladed form makes this a natural wonder from the Tenke-Fungurume area in the Kolwezi mining district, DR Congo, worth gazing upon for hours. This fan-like spray is, internally Malachite, the only logical geochemical explanation for which is that the delicate bladed shape was originally Azurite that has been converted (pseudomorphed) to deep green Malachite. These bladed crystals have then, subsequently, been coated, or epimorphed, by pale powder-blue Chrysocolla. This in turn has been encapsulated with a film of finely crystallized colourless Quartz allowing the blue colour to shine through, but with an added glassy sparkle. Several of the tips of the bladed crystals are broken off, exposing the wonderful internal geochemical story, but for its size and display presence this is a really wonderful proposition.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58289484529999,"sku":"CC63372","price":598.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1011\/3748\/2063\/files\/CC63372_Chrysocolla_after_Malachite_Tenke-Fungurume_area_DRC_IMG_1604ed.jpg?v=1784794808","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.co.uk\/products\/chrysocolla-ps-after-malachite-with-quartz","provider":"Crystal Classics UK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
