Indeed, there are relatively few places in the world where large Cerussite crystals are known to have been found, and even less that have produced significant twinned crystals. Even by Tsumeb's standards this is a big twin and although it is not pristine in its form, it is an impressive piece and something which won't be found again at Tsumeb mine, following its final closure in 1999. Reaching over 9 x 8 cm across it is no surprise that it weighs over half a kilogram pretty much all of which is crystallized lead carbonate. Rounded around its edges, its overall shape is really good, and the large 'V'-shape to the specimen is not the only twin, with smaller crystals branching off from the main ones too.
