{"product_id":"azurite-76","title":"AZURITE","description":"Sometimes mineral specimens don't require large crystals to stand out and that is exactly the case here with this old-time German Azurite. None of the Azurite crystals are particularly large, but with extensive bright coverage of microcrystalline crusts, this highly oxidized sample of copper- and lead-ore stands out dramatically. It is undoubtedly very old, having two old handwritten labels affixed to it - one a number 848 and the other very old, worn and faded label appearing to state \"Konig Georg, Harz\". Fortunately it is also accompanied by a larger label stating similar, \"Kupferlazur Konig Georg Harz\". Despite little information online, the most likely candidate is Konig Georg Shaft, near Schulenberg in the Harz Mountains. This is certainly a rare, very early survivor from the 19th century, and now Azurite specimens are simply not seen from there. Super rich, and colourful too, this specimen is also covered in other unusual secondary mineral species and is deserving of a detailed study. It is wonderful to see such historic treasures.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58506958930255,"sku":"CC27881","price":628.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1011\/3748\/2063\/files\/CC27881_45ee5df5-7373-4ac1-a727-1b07472b2e9a.jpg?v=1787065244","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.co.uk\/products\/azurite-76","provider":"Crystal Classics UK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
