This good example of crystallised Anglesite is attributed to the ore field in general, rather than specifically Leadhills (in Lanarkshire) or Wanlockhead (in Dumfriesshire).  The Anglesite forms several colourless transparent to translucent crystals of between 4 and 5 mm lining a 2.5 x 2.5 cm vug in a mixed rusty Quartz veinstone and Galena matrix.
