A great combination of minerals, typical for this find of a single pocket of specimens in mid 2012 in the Erongo Mountains. Modified Fluorite crystals, ranging in size up to 2.6cm are aesthetically placed on intergrown Schorl Tourmaline and prismatic Smoky Quartz. The Fluorites are translucent with deep purple tinges at surface, naturally etched but still retaining good form. The Schorl is typical for the find with lustrous well formed pyramids on some terminations, but more commonly graded into complex parallel multiple terminations. Quartz to over 2cm are internally gemmy with natural lightly frosted faces. Several Goshenites are scattered over the specimen, peering out from between the other crystals, with bright glassy crystals to 0.5cm with yellowish inclusions. This specimen presents well.
