A thumbnail beauty and a stunning rarity from the collector's mecca of the Tsumeb Mine. The real importance of this specimen is the terminated crystals of Leiteite - it is so rare to find such crystals. The specimen also has the added significance of associated Ludlockite. This association is believed to have been found at about the 44 Level in the Mine. The Leiteite is seen as a parallel to sub-parallel group of prismatic crystals to 1.6cm high, in a Chalcocite Sulphide matrix. The Leiteite crystals are pleasingly gemmy colourless with a very fine luster. A rare burnt orange Ludlockite occurs as a fibrous area between the well formed Leiteite crystals.
