Crystal specimens of Galena are something of a rarity from the Tsumeb Mine, and this particular example is comparatively well formed. The two dominating crystals are intergrown tabular Spinel twins which measure to 1.6cm. The specimen also features a more usual cubo-octahedral crystal measuring 1cm. The Galenas have grown on a mixture of translucent intergrown prismatic Quartz crystals to 0.7cm long, and Sulphides. An aesthetic display of uncommon well formed twinnned Galena.
