A rarity from the British Isles, seldom seen in collections from the UK. Cambokeels Mine is probably the best known location for specimens of Pyrrhotite crystals from the UK, although very few specimens were retrieved by the mines when the mine was working in the 1980s. The rare specimen we have is a combination of two hexagonal form crystals, with two other part formed crystals. The major faces display a rippled foliated appearance with a lustrous light bronzy metallic colour. When viewed from the side, the specimen forms a curving shallow 'L' shape. A very rarely seen specimen of Pyrrhotite from Cambokeels Mine.
