A superb curved 'ram's horn' of Native wire Gold from the El Infierno Mine, Venezuela. Wires are the rarer form of Gold crystallisation and this specimen shows excellent development to 5mm wide. The wire is striated along the length with a fine golden metallic hue, and a net specimen weight of 2.8g. This location was a small but rich deposit, producing Gold wires, but now worked out.
