A tabular multi-twinned crystal of Bournonite forms the prominent feature of this specimen, accompanied by Siderite and Quartz. The metallic lustrous Bournonite twin measures to 2.5cm by 1.7cm by 0.6cm thick. It is nicely positioned on a matrix of intergrown lenticular Siderite crystals measuring to 1.5cm. The Siderites are lustrous with a yellow-brown colouration. Micro drusy crystals of Quartz partly coat some of the Siderite crystals. The specimen also hosts a bevel-edged tabular rectangular crystal of Bournonite measuring to nearly 1cm at one end of the specimen, and on the underside is another twinned Bournonite crystal. The specimen comes from the Machacamarca Mine, Bolivia which became particularly well known for Bournonite specimens in the early 2000s, and this is a excellent specimen.
