A delightful, very gemmy blue crystal specimen of Fluorite from the Minerva #1 Mine, Illinois USA. The Fluorite displays extensive stepped growth development, the overall size of the blue crystal is 5.4cm by 4.9cm. A purple phantom can be seen through the clear blue body of the crystal. The purple phantom in turn encloses a whitish seed crystal of Fluorite. A colourless arm of Fluorite crystals extends from one side of the main crystal, this measuring to 4cm. A fine example of Fluorite from this famous mine.
