Parkinsonite is a very rare mineral found only in Somerset, England. This is a fine example of the Lead, Molybdenum Oxychloride from one of two known (co-type) locations. The Parkinsonite forms several deep red micro masses within whitish Mendipite. The lustrous Mendipite forms elongated anhedral crystals, also associated with Crednerite and Cerussite. A fine rich rare Parkinsonite specimen from Merehead Quarry collected by Tony House in the 1970s.
