An excellent display specimen of Rhodochrosite on Quartz from the Uchucchacua Mine, Peru. The specimen is a long cavity lined with sparkling drusy crystals of transparent to translucent Quartz. The Quartz is richly invested with sharp well formed crystals of contrasting pink Rhodochrosite. The Rhodochrosite forms crystals from micro to 0.9cm, in clusters and single crystals; well placed to display. A fine example of Rhodochrosite from Peru.
