A very well formed gemmy crystal of Topaz from Dusso, Pakistan. The crystal of Topaz is over 3cm tall with a flat pinacoid termination and steep pyramid faces. The colour is a light sherry, with a vitreous luster. The Topaz crystal stands proud of Quartz crystals to 5.6cm long. The Quartz has a number of platy crystals of Albite and a partial coating by prismatic micro-crystals of green Epidote. The Topaz is in great condition with no incipient basal cleavages which are commonly seen.
