ex. Lindsay Greenbank Collection
A fine Fluorite from a not so common location at the Brownley Hill Mine. The Fluorite forms an inter-grown group of cubic crystals to 3.4cm on edge. The specimen has a high luster with light amber colour and transparent gemmy areas. The largest Fluorite crystal has a very light sprinkling of metallic yellow Chalcopyrite crystals to 1.5mm on the top face. There are other Chalcopyrite crystals sparsely scattered over the rest of the specimen. The underside of the specimen has an area of black Sphalerite. Great colour!
