A light brownish-purple coloured interpenetrant twin crystal of Fluorite from the classic Boltsburn Mine location, showing a high degree of transparency. The edges of the crystal (largest crystal edge measures 4.5cm) show unusual narrow complex modifications giving them a slight curved appearance. Similarly, slight variations occur across some of the crystals faces giving them gentle undulating curves in places. On the back of the piece one face has a thin coating of microscopic Siderites. Some colour zoning is visible when viewed from certain angles. There is some minor damage to the piece, however this is reflected in the price. An interesting classic specimen.
