A gorgeous salmon pink Tourmaline crystal from the recent find in Goma, DR Congo. The Tourmaline is well formed and very gemmy with very few wavy fissures/fluid inclusions seen near the termination on the outer edges of the crystal (fissures near the termination seem to be common in the salmon pink Tourmalines in this find). The colour is a really pretty salmon pink, darkening upwards with a thin blue cap. This is an unusual location for Tourmalines, and most recovered are very waterworn, making this one more exception for the great crystal form and colour. The Tourmaline was purchased and is priced based on the gem value. Net weight 2.0 grams.
