An excellent example of Fluorite from the La Viesca Mine, Spain. The Asturias mining area has become a world renowned location for Fluorite over the last 30 years or so. The Fluorite forms cubic crystals to 2.5cm on edge, truncated by the 110 bevel face. The body colour of the crystals is a transparent light blue-grey, with a high luster, while the bevel faces display a mid-purple colouration. Some of the crystals display a faint purple ghosting within the crystal. The Fluorite crystals are attached to a small amount of creamy-white Calcite. Attractive colours and displays well.
