An excellent small cabinet specimen of Linarite from the world renowned Red Gill Mine, Cumbria. The Linarite forms fine royal blue bladed crystals on average to 2.5mm, with a vitreous luster. The Linarite crystals richly invest a 3cm by 2.5cm area with stubby micro-crystals of glassy Anglesite on Quartz. The Quartz matrix is also heavily veined by lighter blue Linarite, with minor green Malachite.
