A pleasing specimen of Smithsonite from Pit No.9, Touissit, Morocco. The Smithsonite forms a geode-like cavity of a light green colouration, and bright chatoyant lustre. The edge of the cavity is rimmed by a contrasting white band of Smithsonite, which nicely frames the interior of the specimen. The Smithsonite covers a light brown iron oxide-Quartz matrix. Displays well.
