A superb combination of Native Copper and Cuprite featuring sharply crystallised Native Copper intergrown at one end with Cuprite, and dotted with several highly lustrous Cuprite octahedrons. The Copper has an arborescent form with excellent bright patina, and a goldish-coppery colouration. The Cuprite forms sharp octahedrons, which have a super bright silvery metallic lustre, and a deep red colour under strong light with flashes of ruby red in the translucent areas. The Copper and Cuprite combinations from Rubtsovskiy are dream specimens for the quality of crystallisation and their aesthetics.
