A gorgeous 2cm TRANSLUCENT red bipyramidal Cuprite crystal sits upon a sliver of matrix - almost like some strange mushroom. A lovely example with a point of detachment on the rear. The crystal is sharply crystallised and shows glassy prism faces with flashes of red when moved in the light, and a metallic mirror-like lustre.Size: 3.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm (Miniature)
