A specimen of transparent interlocking crystals of the REE bearing mineral Bastnasite. The crystals are prismatic (to 16mm) and well crystallised displaying rare transparency, high lustre for the species, and a caramel brown colouration. Very little damage to the crystals on the display side of the specimen. Excellent miniature example of this exotic carbonate mineral.
